COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's a great way to meet new people. I'm not that active anymore. Looks like I will try to meet up with people if I'm visiting due to work. My evenings will be free and it'll be nice to have local company to hang out with.

Intereses

I get the wanderlust often. I try to do a trip at least once a quarter. My job consists of a 6-week shift rotation which gets me 10 weeks off a year but I just can't afford going somewhere every time. Love to travel and see new sights, taste different foods, meet new people, and experience cultures. Also enjoy: reading, cycling, hiking, volleyball, movies, musicals, football, snorkeling, beaches, and a bunch of other stuff.

Música, películas y libros

My main music is regularly known as "easy listening". I do like 60's, 70's & 80's. I also enjoy songs from musicals like the Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, etc. My favorite singer is Sarah Brightman. Haley Westenra is quickly becoming a favorite of me.

I like to watch almost any movie: action, comedy, suspense, oldies, horror, sci-fi and even romantic. Some of my favorites include: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Star Wars movies, the Matrix trilogy, Grease, Austin Powers, Groundhog Day, most Christmas stuff, and I can go on and on.

Ah, books... I really enjoy them and have a library of over 1000. Mainly fantasy, I have a variety that covers sci-fi, mystery, horror, action, and a few of the other kinds. Favorite authors include: Stephen R. Donaldson, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Orson Scott Card, Terry Brooks, Tom Clancy, Dan Simmons, and many more.

One amazing thing?! I can't decide. I love New Zealand. Liked walking the Great Wall. Seen some beautiful castles and cathedrals in Europe. Ate great Thai food in Bangkok. Enjoyed the view from the Peak in Hong Kong. Loved snorkling in Roatan. Vietnam has some beautiful beaches unspoiled by tourists and manufacturing.
