ABOUT ME

Hit the road to see the world and figure out who I am. The best way to do that is to experience as many different things as possible, in my opinion. I understand what it's like to be a chick "on the right track" from the Bay Area... But what's your perspective like?
I've always been a traveler- even as a kid I loved exploring different cultures. After taking a 72 day Outward Bound course in North Carolina and Patagonia, I realized how little I need to be happy... and now I'm living that philosophy, traveling wherever life takes me!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that energy is an incredibly important thing- you can tell so much about someone from the energy they exude. With that in mind, I think it's important to maintain a good attitude and try and keep the people around you in good spirits as well. Life is short and I think it's important to have fun, while trying to figure out who you are and what you value. I don't like to label people or situations or try to box things in, because very few things are black and white.

Currently I'm a traveler. I'm excited to meet new people and to someday host (more) travellers on my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was living in San Francisco, I met some super chill people on Haight St and let them crash on my couches for a while... It totally opened up my eyes to new perspectives and helped me realize that's what I want to be doing!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music is such an important thing to me- I'm into pretty much everything... A lot of indie/acoustic stuff, punk, country, rock, jazz... My iPod's pretty diverse. And I like to plunk around on a guitar and sing whenever I get the chance.
I'm also a big reader. Some favorites are "Into the Wild," "On the Road," "the Republic," "The Electic Kool-aid Acid Test," "The Fountainhead," "No Saints or Angels"... I could definitely keep going.
Movies... I like pretty much anything "good." I'm a huge fan of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "A Scanner Darkly," "Los Diarios de Motocicletos," "Goodbye Lenin," "Fight Club," and "Babel." The most recent movie I saw that I really liked was "Revolutionary Road" - I felt like it had a good message, without being too pushy or desperate for critical praise.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

On New Years Eve 2008/2009, I went to the Phil Lesh and Friends show in San Francisco. The energy of the crowd was the most incredible thing I've ever felt- thousands of people were just tied together, really spreading love. It was incredibly inspirational!
