ABOUT ME

My name is James I work at a local organic cafe in Minneapolis, Bilingual Financial Service Specialist(Seasonal), facilitate an ESL group, and amateur photographer. I am pretty laid back and like to fly by the seat of my pants. I also bike tons, listen to all genres of music, love meeting people and exchanging life experiences. I believe there is something to learn through every experience or encounter you have

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything twice because the first time you try it you may not like or enjoy it but the second time you may have the time of your life. Fly by the seat of your pants until there is a big whole then your free falling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was pretty awesome in Chicago I came in contact with really awesome people who initiated me the right way. Surfing opened my eyes to the wonderful people that exist that I would not have had the opportunity to meet if I traveled the traditional way. Mary and her two roommates welcomed me into their home and made me feel like I was in Minneapolis in a big city like Chicago. Tim hosted an awesome party with other couch surfer that included great conversation, water guns, dancing, loud music, and best of all a cold hot tub party. Judith met with me over coffee and brought me to the Roscoe Village festival. All which was unexpected but greatly appreciated.

Interests

I really love to bike and will bike through any climate if you are in Minneapolis we can go for rides and if I am in your town do not be afraid to invite me out. Photography is another passion of mine so documenting my travels, people I meet, ect.. even surfers that come to Minneapolis(still waiting to host my first). www.flickr.com/montfordcycle is my page to check out some of my photos if you are interested. I am a huge fan of music, love to dance, and going out to see shows and tons of other randomness it just depends on the day of the week.
