ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving, adventurous, 21 year old American currently studying at Pomona College in southern California. I absolutely love to travel anywhere. I also love meeting new people and swapping stories. I'm graduating in May and have no idea what I'm going to do next. I'd love to travel somewhere, anywhere really, and do some soul searching before I settle down and get a real job.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A good friend has been bugging me to join CS for ages and I finally got around to it. I've only couchsurfed once (in Australia), but I'd like to do it again someday. I also hope to host people myself when I'm established somewhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

3 nights in Melbourne.

Intereses

Traveling, swimming, hiking/backpacking, anything involving the ocean (boating, beaches, dolphins), environmental issues, music, doing work in starbucks, bungee jumping, exploring, mint chocolate chip ice cream, the smell of freshly cut grass, getting lost, a nice big glass of cold lemonade, cliff jumping into water, getting lost.

Movies... Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Memento, Ratatouille, Sherlock Holmes, all the Bond movies, Pirates of the Caribbean... Music: Guster is my all time favorite, Slightly Stoopid, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Ratatat, Simon & Garfunkel, and of course some good dance party music (a la Lady Gaga). Favorite books include the Harry Potter series, 1984, anything by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, The DaVinci Code & other Dan Brown books, etc.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach you how to swim, do flip turns and/or dive. I'd love to learn how to play guitar (I'm generally musically inclined, just no experience on a guitar) and speak other languages. I'm competent-ish in Spanish. I'd love to learn just about anything you can teach.
