Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and traveling, and feel this is a great way to see how people really live in other cultures as well as find out the TRUE scoop on cities and where I should spend my time. Currently I am traveling abroad and do not have a couch available to share, sorry!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed many times unofficially, and have used this site to connect with others and couchsurf through Switzerland, Germany and Austria. All of my experiences have been incredible so far and have encouraged me to spread the word to all my brother and sister travelers about this site!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No joke, I feel like everyday the most amazing/interesting/crazy/ridiculous things happen to me- and I am more than alright with that. Some examples include:
*singing at Carnegie Hall
*helping save the life of a gun-shot victim
*summiting two Swiss Alps
*swimming in the North Atlantic Ocean
*getting accepted into the Peace Corps
*Rappelling 150 feet through a waterfall and into a gorge
*performing with professional musicians

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a music major, so I could talk music for hours with anyone. I am a Wilderness First Responder, Lifeguard and Environmental Educator as well. I also do yoga in my free time and would love to teach some yoga poses! I am currently a Peace Corps Volunteer working in Ukraine, so if anyone wants to learn some fun Ukrainian words or toasts, I am your lady.
