About Me
"I was not born for one corner: the whole world is my native land!"
Travel travel travel travel, nearly an obsession!!
When I travel I really like to "live like a local" and this is why I really like the CS community. I like to blend in, to get off the beaten track, get lost in the city streets and get to know people's lives. I like to try any local dishes and customs. The weirder and further from mine the better!
I love diving, driving and living by the beach. Always trying to learn more about photography, but am missing patience.
I was on a mission to see every country in the world sooner or later, but after 1 year of hopping from country to country I realised I should pace myself to saviour more every country I visit rather than wanting to see them all. The best way for me to really get to know a country is to live it and feel it.
Slow travelling is my type of travelling now. I find I have more time to meet different people and hear different stories, experience different traditions and ways of living of the countries I am in, and how not to mention the food! I like to take my time to try all different delicacies when I visit!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's just GENIUS!!! Meeting people all around the world while in their countries or while they are in yours. It allows us to really live the countries we visit, embraciing their traditions and ways of living for a little while, and it brings us together in a society where individualism is at its peak!
I participated in a couple of meet ups in Lodnon and would have loved to help organising them too but work didn't leave me much free time and now I am travelling around so not possible again. I have surfed in Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Australia, and I have also met a couple of CSsurfers to exchange language skills in London and in Sri Lanka. I can't wait to have the opportunity to host too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movie - Into the Wild
Music - literally everything, depending on the mood ;)
Books - suspense, crime and thrillers and obviously travel books. I love Garcia Zaflon's books, The shadow of the wind is my favourite. I also love Pablo Cohelo, the Alchemist was truly inspiring!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The dawn by the sea in Sardinia and the desert in Dubai, swimming 2 meters away from a whale shark and wandering along the beaches of an atoll in the Maldives, sunset and sunrises in the Caribbean. Eating street tacos in Mexico City. But I believe the best is yet to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been skiing (downhill) since when I was 4 so I can probably pass on some knowledge. I love cooking and learning new recipes. Languages lover and English teacher.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to chat and to listen, always ready to learn from people around me. Always eager to discover new cultures, the furthest from mine the better!
