About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To backpack and know that I in fact know nothing
ABOUT ME
My biggest dream is to go around the world and do volunteer work, make new friends and be prepared to be amazed by the world and knowing what 'no boundaries' truly means. I would want to learn all kinds of sports, and get myself involved in as much activities as I can!I would like to venture out in different areas of life. Still on the process of organizing my thoughts though. Backpacking will be my lifelong dream. Going solo, making prior/last-minute arrangements and meeting amazing new friends along the way.I've met so many different people from all walks of life. Once again I stress, astounding!I'm genuinely looking forward to meeting friendly people as all CSers seem to be, and learn so much more from them! Just by reading the profiles makes me feel wanderlust all over again. CouchSurfing has been nothing short of amazing - met a couple of CS friends in Singapore.. and CouchSurfed for the first time in Jan 2011 in Jaipur, India.
PHILOSOPHY
Change is always a personal choice.
I have mixed feelings about the world, I like to think in-depth, gain more enlightenment and feel more about the world and myself as an individual. My faith in God is essential to my well-being. I feel deeply about the world, its people and the amazing creations of God. I believe we don't ever stop learning and growing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I tune in to the local music station which plays lots of oldies and I love the atmosphere of it.
I love books. I love to visit book fairs even though it means jostling with crowds! Books open up a different world and I think its awesome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise.
Overlooking beautiful layers of rice terraces across a whole landscape of scenery in Sapa, Vietnam
Catching a firefly in my palm in the fields of Central Taiwan at night.. on a mountain 1000m above sea level
Teach, Learn, Share
I appreciate people who are polite, kind and gracious. I believe that kindness can be passed on, and humans are definitely capable of great acts of kindness!
I grew up in Singapore, I'm able to provide a basic background of what you're in for and what tourists all say when they come to Singapore! Also the pet peeves over here! And our language "Singlish" over here! I can speak Mandarin and will be more than happy to assist anyone with a keen interest! I also hope the latter can return this by teaching me a language he/she's adept at too!
And food! Local food is awesome! Chicken rice, Laksa, Mee Goreng, Nasi Lemak, Rojak, Fried Carrot Cake, and so many more! And the famous tropical fruit - Durian. I haven't been around trying them but I'm willing to go this mile for you if I can!
When I travel, I would like to learn about the different people, cultures, languages, and food! That is when this site comes in.
