ABOUT ME

I'm a happy and easygoing woman with a girl's of 8.

I don't smoke and eventually drink wine or beer. I'm a bit workaholic

I'm a PhD candidate at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, currently finishing a research stay as a Daad scholarship holder at University of Freiburg. My research is on theatrical pedagogy across disciplines

I'm also a videomaker, on sabbatical leave, working at Fundação Cecierj - a government foundation on Distance Learning Education and Scientific Communication.

I love acting, dancing and singing. Nowadays, I do them and also write plays and songs through an outreach program from my uni, where we create and present plays and songs on scientific themes. I like to study and do researches.

I love my family, my house, my friends and also travelling. I also like going to the Church, but haven't gone since I've come to Germany.

PHILOSOPHY

Do your part and know that God's in control.

When I do or say something, I'used to ask myself if I would like the other do/say that same thing to me.

There's always a sweet way to say hard things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a nice and cheap way of travelling. We get to know people from other cultures, are helped, help others and have fun together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finding out God in my life. Skiing. A interchange program at 15. Coming to Germany with my daughter for a research stay. Getting divorced after more than 20 yrs of marriage.

Learn: Playing the violin, German, French, Spanish, and other languages, fishing, climbing the mountains, surfing

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being a good guest. Helping with the food/cooking. Keeping my place neat. A good talk. A prayer if he/she wishes, of course. A karaoke night and some dancing.
