ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Nadja. To those who prefer original Chinese name my name is Bin. Or you can also call me "luoluo" if you can easily pronounce Chinese, that's a nick name what my friends call me.
And yes I'm pure Shanghaiese.
Believe me or not, I'm an engineer in a power plant. (I quite enjoy those "NO WAY!" look on people's faces when I tell them this, lol). And i'm also a wedding planner and a volunteer member in Shanghai Dramatic Art Center.
Though I'm not really the crazy type, I always have a willing to know more about other parts of the world and try different new things. So anyway we're going to have fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my friend introduced me to this place, and I feel I like this kind of community. I love my city very much so I will be very happy to help others enjoy the time here. And I also like travel and hope to get helpful information from here too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some CS friends when they were travelling in Shanghai or I was on my travelling, and they are all very good people and really gave me nice memories, which made me like this community more. And also made me want to make more friends here and learn more interesting things about other places.
Also I attend CS meetings, always nice to meet up with friends from all over the world.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I like new age music(especially of Pacific Moon), Gregorian chant and songs of Die Prinzen. My favorite singer at present is Jason Mraz(no.1!!!) and Jack Johnson.
I like Japanese animation and Pixar cartoons, almost all of them.
I'm bookworm. I like a lot of books, and now I'm concentrating on Alain De Botton. I really like his works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

escaped from work and took a one month summer course in Heidelberg University in August 2013. That's the best summer I've ever had!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learnt some languages, and I still want to learn more. So language exchange will be nice to me.
And...mmmm... I really don't know what else I'm good at, so maybe being a student is suitable for me. I hope I can learn to play some instrument(ukulele is kind of my first choice), and I will also be interested in learning cooking & baking.
