Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since 2007 I have hosted 70+ people from all over the world and I surfed quite a view couches myself in Indonesia and Japan .

I love to come home at places I have never lived and I'll try to share this feeling with the couch surfers I host . Be prepared . It will be great !

There are many places , countries , cultures . . . literally whole different worlds out there . It's great to notice that there are always like-minded people to be found from all over the world . No matter the cultural differences or diverse backgrounds . Anyone can be a mirror and/or give you new perspectives and/or confirmation .

CS makes the concept of being a world citizen really tangible . Thanks to CS , it is easier to encounter all these wonderful beings roaming around this planet we call Earth .

Most of my CS experiences were above top excellent , a few were okay , none were bad . . . and others just didn't happen .

Interests

I did not loose all of my child-wonder just yet , still infinitely curious , still exploring and experimenting , asking questions and making up my own mind . So I am interested in anything I don't know about if I feel it really matters .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Falling in love and making love for the first time are the most amazing things I have ever done . Period .

I also saw the Aurora Borealis phenomenon on two consecutive days in Finland.

I visited the Pyramids and Sphinx at the Giza plateau in Cairo ( who build that stuff , how did they do it and most importantly . . . why ? ! ) .

I have seen a random guy in Amsterdam ride himself into a canal on his bicycle the other day , for no reason.

I visited the orphanage I came from , in Jakarta .

I'v traveled through Japan. Enough said!
