Hello everyone, my name is Waqas pronounced (wa-ka-s). I was born in Morocco, Casablanca and lived there for early sever years of my life and then relocated to North India where my mom is from. My family and I lived in New Delhi for about 8 years and when I was 15 we relocated to the United States to the DC area. I went to high school in the DC area and took a few years off to travel and really figure out what I want to do with my life. After having to gone to all the 50 States in America, I finally found what I wanted to do and study. Thus, I am a student at George Mason University studying Communication and Finance and should be graduating in 2019. One thing that I learned from going to all the States is that I love meeting new people. I love learning about cultures and I love people who love life in general. People who wake up in the morning and are blessed to be alive, I strive to meet those type of people. My favorite hobby is fishing and currently my goal is to meet Hosts from the Key West area. Also, I speak English, a bit of Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and some Arabic.

Currently I am college student and I can’t afford to live in Hotels or Airbnb. I believe that by Couchsurfing, I will make awesome friends who are like minded.
