ABOUT US

We are a couple based in Lahore Pakistan who love to travel and pursue adventures and explore the world together.

We absolutely love discovering new places, meeting new people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, learning & talking about their perspectives on LIFE & things of their own culture, customs & way of life (and of our own).

We really appreciate open people who can talk about the world around them and appreciate the diversity around them and won't judge people or make opinions against people without knowing them.

We are Conversationalists, who Love meeting people, traveling, exploring life, Reading Books (History, Philosophy, psychology Literature, Fiction, Biology, Poetry), discussing, History, Philosophy, People Perspective on Life, Literature, Music, Love, and Life.

She is very friendly, energetic, outspoken, spontaneous, bubbly, Adventurous & Easy going person with a great sense of humour and A Die Hard Romantic. Loves socializing, Meeting new people, Traveling, writing poetry, cooking (you would fall for her cooking) and runs an online retail business.

He is Independent, introspective, responsive, sociable, accessible, spiritual, less materialistic, extroverted, rebellious, liberal, thoughtful, considerate, emotionally stable, Polite, robust and quick to alter opinions based on logic and Scientific evidence and is Passionate about Technology, Acting, Cinema; Learning to Play Violin. He loves Drawing; Sketching and writes Urdu Poetry and loves to talk about almost everything under the blue sky including philosophy, history of civilizations, Cultures, Theology, Sociology, Aliens, and world politics

Why are we Couchsurfing

To meet people new people, cultures, customs, cuisines and ways of life, while visiting and exploring new places and get the real feel of places I visit.

You can never enjoy new places as tourist unless you are a traveler too. Making a real connection with local people of the area and seeing places with the local perspective in mind enriches the overall experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not had a lot of guests from the Couch surfing community/travelers but we are a great host. have hosted couples and went out for dinner with a few. We participate in local Couchsurfing meetups and events and are looking forward hosting travelers / couples from outside Pakistan too and hopefully visiting new places and meeting new hosts in the near future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My Friends used to call me blast from the past because of my choice of music. I like Classical, Semi Classical, old Folk, Hindi & Pakistani music including Ghazals, Qawalli, Sufi Music. Although i have a taste for Hard metal, Rock and county music too.

Books: Lots of them, I love reading literature, History, Philosophy, Autobiographies & Poetry. I am bit of a poet my self and most of my poetic work is in Urdu.

Movies: You name a movie and chances are, I have already watched it. Currently, completing IMDB list of top 250 movies. I like international cinema and love watching, Italian, Korean, Iranian and other popular movies too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have done a lot of things that we would consider as amazing achievements but not sure really if they will qualify as amazing by some one else's definition. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you Urdu, Saraiki & Punjabi. local delicacies and cuisines, Travel tips, computers, and a dozen of things we know. We can share our contacts with you and can help you develop your interests and put you through like-minded people :)

He can give you effective results producing tips and advise about loosing weight. (IHe lost 21 kgs in 125 days approximately and working to loose another 20 kgs to get back in to normal weight range :)

You can teach us your language, customs, whatever skills and wisdom you possess.

As a host, We can Guide you about Lahore City and places (Not just Lahore but other cool places in Pakistan) you can visit. We might just be able to accompany you as well if our schedules allow. He works with off shore clients so he is mostly busy and works in the evenings until morning. Weekends are free and we will be happy to give you a tour, provided we already don't have a prior engagement.

We can offer some of my experiences and stories, We would love to learn more about peoples ideas and perspectives.

We can share our history, our culture and can discuss almost any thing. We like reading books, watching movies and discussing, Philosophy, Sociology, Evolution etc.

We are great listeners and love talking to people and hearing stories they have to share!

You can share your contact details & Address or a meeting place near your residence and tell us when we can show up. (Don't worry we won't bother you in the middle of a night) :)

Please feel free to share any house rules, personal preferences or anything you would like us to care for while we are staying with you. we would respect your privacy.

Sleeping: Please don't feel badly about the kind of accommodation you can offer us. What matters most to us is that we are staying with YOU . we are as happy sleeping on a couch or a mattress on a floor.

Food - we are not vegetarian but we only eat halal / Kosher meat and no pork. We can take care of my own food but just that you know when we eat together.

The Charm of Couch surfing for us is to meet new people and discover new places with them. However, If you are busy we are perfectly happy to do our own things - We like to explore a city by walking and watching & Meeting interesting people. We respect everyone equally for what they do in life.

Please let us do your dishes, garden work, and anything that we can help with. This is my way of showing gratitude and being part of the family. Treat us as a friend, not as a guest.
