Overview
About Me
New Yorker taste testing the pizza of the world.
Self identify as a food dumpster, a climber, fair amount of snark, pizza aficionado, foodie even though I dislike the word, possibly a linguist, since I paid a lot of money in college for this title.
I’m a good mix of -verted, but mostly the intro- variety.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Share a drink and a meal over life stories and conversations about life, philosophy, our doomed future, hypothetical app ideas, anything engaging and silly really.
Interests
I started climbing about 10 months ago and have progressed to around a V6/7A and 5.12a (indoor) climber and have been training to get further, maybe second thing I’m most proud of?
I consume a questionable amount of pop culture via movies and shows.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch a lot of movies across many genres, I think I tend to like movies that make you think and reflect upon society and self. Some favorites in no particular order, Pulp Fiction (I’m a sucker for Tarantino), La La Land, The Shawshank Redemption.
I also watch a fair amount of anime such as Attack on Titan, Your Lie In April, majority of the Ghibli movies, Spy X Family.
I've been on a jazz binge, but funky upbeat indie rock music seems to be a larger percentage of my playlist with bits of everything else.
Generally enjoy reading a spectrum of genres, non-fiction such as “Sapiens”, “The Anthropocene Reviewed”, to thrillers such as “Gone Girl”, fantasy such as “The Hobbit”, classics such as “To Kill a Mockingbird”, biographies such as “When Breath Becomes Air”, “The Choice”
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Flew off from New York with nothing to my name, and changed my life changed pretty drastically in San Francisco, also kept a plant alive for a set amount of time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Confusing attributes of English and it’s slang, specifically New York slang. Have you ever wandered why though and cough are written the same and sound different? I’ve wondered that too and I’m a native speaker.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Mutual introspections, social observations, circular hypotheticals and a good food.
