Non smoker. Not much of a partier if it involves alcohol, although I do enjoy an occasional beer. I like coffee and earl grey tea. I have no allergies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted a couch surfer from Norway last summer. Very positive experience for my wife and I.

Interests

I love broadway musicals and live theater. My favourite vacation activity is reading the daily newspaper. I'm interested in show choir as well as other choirs. I'm learning how to salsa dance. I enjoy board games and card games (as long as they don't involve gambling) and I really like to learn new games.

Broadway musicals in general. Stephen Sondheim musicals in particular. Live theatre in general. Shakespeare in particular. Books in general. Connie Willis, Stephen Lawhead, and Simon Winchester in particular. Glee and NCAA basketball on TV, if I'm visiting someone that has a TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 3 days on an organic coffee farm in Nicaragua in January. I was fascinated by the entire process of growing and marketing coffee.
