Actually living in Paris (specifically in the city of Montreuil), I am working in the public sector. In France, I've already lived in several cities (Lille, Lyon, Paris, Die, Clermont-Ferrand, ...). I like to read sci-fi books, to watch horror or fantastic movies, or simply to take long walks in the city. I easily make contact with new people, I like asking questions and being interested in what people like to do as a hobby or a job. And I love music : especially heavy metal, but also good old west coast rap music or anything. I've been playing the guitar for like 8 years now, it's really become a hobby and I'm playing in a little cover band of rock songs which is super nice !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to create an account on Couchsurfing, because I like to meet new people, from a different horizon. I think this is a way to understand other cultures, to practice foreign languages, and drink some local beers ... ;-)

Interests

I like reading (I try to read in original version most of these days) and also like to watch some good thriller movies. Besides, I've been playing the guitar for almost 8 years from now, so I also enjoy good music, good vibrations and feeling. I really like rock music, and I've been going to several musical festivals in Europe and France. I also like visiting new places, for example when I move in a new city, I usually take several walks in the neighborhood just to feel the ambiance of the city, see the shops, see what people look like, etc. Although I've been a vegan for some years, don't misjudge : I am a really food lover ! I really love to eat and drink ! Maybe it's because of me being a typical french guy ^^ I'm also very fond of animals, even if I don't currently own one these days.

Music : Old school bands like Black Sabbath or Metallica, but not only... I couldn't say everything but, randomly : Soundgarden, Joe Satriani, Bob Dylan, etc. and more unknown bands like All Them Witches...
Movies : Twelve Angry men (love Sidney Lumet!), movies with Al Pacino, movies with Swcharzenegger (! for example "Total Recall" from Paul Verhoeven),... also Almodovar movies... I also enjoy TV shows like Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, True Detective, ... and in another genre : Rick & Morty :p
Books : Stephen King's Misery, George Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know... maybe my last good memory of a trip : visiting Karl's Bridge in Prague in the dead of night with a very gloomy atmosphere
