About Me

CURRENT MISSION

bring people's voice into the process of transforming the built environment: social architecture

ABOUT ME

I am a fun, down to earth, queer, creative and passionate guy. I'm originally from the Bay Area in California but I have worked and lived all over the world. At Hampshire College in Amherst, MA I designed an architecture major with a big focus on environmental and social sustainability. During past summers I have worked and design projects in Korea, the Philippines, and Colombia. Back in California I work as a river guide in the Sierras.

I am a passionate student and I love life deeply.
I have biked all over the place...last summer 4000 miles from Boston to San Francisco. My near endeavor is skating.

I currently study at Harvard and during the three month vacation I am living in Medellin and working and studying at La Universidad Nacional en Medellin.

PHILOSOPHY

live, explore, love

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted a few times in the US and love the exchange.

Interests

I love being outside. Biking is freedom...I bike everywhere. Whenever I have more than two weeks of free time, I usually leave on my bike. My last trip was 1400 miles through Baja, criss-crossing the desert. During the summer, I work as a raft guide, all day everyday, and spend my free time kayaking, drawing, and swimming. While guiding I live in a little tent under a beautiful oak tree right on the American River.
I love building, designing and creating. My most recent project was a platform way up in a maple tree. I really enjoying drawing as well.
Teaching is a passion of mine. In Colombia, I worked in several schools and spent all day everyday working with young, creative energy.
