About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking to host folks from lands both far and near. We hope to make some new friends, show off our wonderful city, and perhaps find a couch or two to crash on when travels take us away from home!

ABOUT ME

I'm only a part of the equation... staying with me involves a whole cast and crew of fun people: my boyfriend, Ben, three rowdy boys (Michael - 15, Brennan - 12, and Liam - 8), two dogs, one cat, a hedgehog, a bearded dragon, and a handful of friends and family who regard our house as their second home! We love meeting new people and showing them a good time.
Seabrook is our home, a great spot along the bay and nicely situated between Houston and Galveston. One of the largest yachting communities in the country, Kemah, is just a couple miles away, and where there are water sports, there's SEAFOOD :)

PHILOSOPHY

The world is my playground... I love learning about other cultures and what makes people "tick". I am perpetually optimistic but still have a healthy dose of good-humored cynicism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Other than a bit of drunken, spur-of-the-moment couchsurfing during my rugby days at college, I haven't done much...yet!!

Interests

Music (all kinds), travel (my goal is to hit all the continents before my 40th!), anything outdoors (backpacking, hiking, canoing, camping, climbing, etc), wandering through museums for hours on end, finding "off the beaten path" delights, yoga, running, sitting idly in the park with my kids and a guitar, playing with the dogs, sharing a good pint of Guinness at a local pub...
