About Me

After graduating from University I decided to move to Spain and teach English. I love living abroad and travelling. I'm always looking to meet new people, travel new places, and learn about new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing is such a useful tool for people looking to travel and experience the culture in new places. I´m amazed at the accepting attitude necessary to allow people into your house and wish to make every couch surfing experience a great one. I've always had great experiences couch surfing and I hope I can provide the same experiences for people who come and visit Granada.

Interests

I love backpacking, hiking, running, rock climbing, you name it. I enjoy going on adventures with friends, especially seeing new things, and having crazy experiences. I also really enjoy visiting historical sites especially in Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste for Movies, Music, and Books I feel cannot readily be narrowed down to favorites. That said, I love the Hunt for Red October, The Matrix, and all the Star Wars movies. My musical taste is a little more varied, and on any given day i could listen to Classical music, old school rap, or Indie music, not to mention Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. As for books, I always enjoy a good book whatever the genre. Recently I've been reading quite a lot of science fiction, like the Dune series, or the Commonwealth series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most recent amazing things I've done was explore Buzludzha, an abandoned communist monument in Bulgaria. look it up! It looks like a UFO right out of Mars Attacks. With my friends I explored the remains of the monument, and even climbed up inside the giant red star in the tower!

Teach, Learn, Share

What is the most important lesson one can learn from couch surfing?

There are great people out there who are driven by a need to travel, see new places, and meet new people. It benefits everyone if we are friendly and open to these kinds of experiences. If only everyone was as kind and awesome as the couchsurfing community!

Countries I’ve Visited
