About Me
Currently looking for HOUSE SWAPS for 13 august - 29 august in Berlin. Swapping my apartment in Amsterdam (1 bedroom with 2 person bed, 1 study room, living room with large couch and own kitchen and bathroom) for house/apartment in Berlin with room for 2 or 3 people.
I grew up on Curaçao, in the Caribbean, which gave me a bit of a different outlook on life than most European people. After moving to the Netherlands and studying all kinds of stuff I ended up doing my masters in cognitive neuroscience, to unravel the magic ways of the linguistic brain. At some point I realised becoming an acedemic wasn't the life for me and I started working for non-profit organisations, bettering the world one step at a time. Right now I mostly focus on youth participation and LGBTQI+-projects. I also have my own podcast and some other side hustle projects.
I try to arrange my life quite eco-friendly and make people and our environment the centre of my actions. I enjoy spending time in anarchist circles and get energized dancing the night away at queer parties under the stars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Widening my horizon (also it's cheap and millennial life isn't treating me well in the money front).
