I like to believe that I am an open-minded person with a bit of ironic sense of humor. Don’t be put off by that, if I use irony it means I feel comfortable with you and treat you as a friend. I like the act of travelling more than I appreciate reaching a destination. I tend to be put together, but I enjoy getting lost in places I don’t know too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning and I believe that there is no better way of doing it than meeting people. Each of us have their unique story and wisdom. Apart from that, there is no better way of experiencing the spirit of a place than spending time with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like art house cinema. Some of my favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amelie, Oldboy, Synecdoche, New York and Adam’s Apples.
I listen to different genres of music represented mostly by Yann Tiersen, Olafur Arnalds, Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Jamiroquai, Tab Two, Sia, Frou Frou, Florence and the Machine or Iron & Wine.
I read mostly literary reportages. If you share that interest, you should definitely look for books of polish master of journalism - Ryszard Kapuscinski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Voluntary service in Ukraine - during summer 2012 I worked with kids from small villages in Kiev Oblast.
