About Me
Hi! I'm Wawrzek and thanks for reading my profile! Read it all, please, especially when requesting for stay at my place.
I was born and raised in Zakopane, Poland. Since a little kid I'm connected with tourism industry, as my father runs small hostel/guest rooms here. After high school I was studying Acoustic Engineering at AGH in Cracow for a while, but decided to stop it and make some serious changes. I decided to study Economics at Jagiellonian University and right I finally have Bachelor degree. My plans for next two years? Do the Master degree in Economics and also degree in Management in Tourism. But trust me, I'm not 'me and my notebook' type of person. I like hard party, but I can also chill out in sunset with some cool view. I can talk all day but we can spend 200 km in my car with no word. I love nice and unconventional architecture, nice interiors (maybe because of lack of them in my personal life :) ). I am trying to be really flexible. I am trying to be good person.
[IMPORTANT]
YOU CAN SEND A MESSAGE/REQUEST TO ME, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IN 99% I WON'T BE ABLE TO HOST YOU. I'M STUDYING IN KRAKÓW AND I'M NOT HOME MOST OF THE TIME OR SOMETIMES DON'T HAVE ENOUGH SPACE FOR YOU AT MY PLACE.
I can give you a piece of advice if you ask me about what to see, what to eat etc. You can do it always.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's simple - you can make someone's trip easier and someone can make your trip easier.
It is fantastic to make friends with people united under one roof.
I want to discover different points of view on the world, different ideas, beacuse I believe in humanity, no matter what happens in the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Electronic - Swedish House Mafia (thanks to them I discovered electronic music, much love the boss Steve Angello), Daft Punk, Kraftwerk (you have to see their show live!), Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Justice, Flume and so on. I don't like electronic crap produced nowadays. I really love sounds of 80s and 90s - sounds of my childhood, and right now I have some cool Spotify playlists made by myself with those old hits. I'm open to other genres.
Films: I prefer comedies. My favourite director is Wes Anderson and my favourite film ever is 'Grand Budapest Hotel'. I've just started my Netflix subscription, so I need to catch up with some most popular TV series and find my favourites.
Books: I really loved reading books until I started university :) Recently I read Moby's 'Porcelain' autobiography - it was really good and inspirational book!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed in queue with thousands of people from 1AM in cold Rome to see live canonization of Pope John Paul II on St. Peter Place. And, what is more, the next day I went sightseeing at 5AM and saw almost all main attractions of Rome and met my chemistry teacher from high school in 2m crowd!
--------------
Visiting abandoned big pension and kind of hospital in Zakopane, so many emotiones!
--------------
Survived a week in most party hostel in the World - Kabul Barcelona!
--------------
Visited Transnistria - country that doesn't really exist - great experience.
--------------
You can't say there's one amazing thing you've done - there're are a lot of them. One really amazing thing is your life!
