About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Doing stuff that is worth doing.
ABOUT ME
In brief: I play and coach sports a lot, but I am more of a sci-fi nerd than an athlete type. My current sport of choice to play is ultimate, to coach is basketball. My current sci-fi series of choice is Dr. Who.
I have an overly moderated, middle road view of everything because I love to examine all sides of issues and usually see the value in each argument. As such, I am very good at bringing opinions together, but not so great at clinging fiercely to my own.
I like cooking, although I always seem to burn my bacon no matter how careful I am. Nothing comes out as good as I think it should except for strawberry chocolate truffle pie and eggs.
I would rather meet a group of friends at a house for a potluck or board games than go to a club or bar. Not that I won't head out for the nightlife, it just isn't my forte.
I have a degree in Political Science with a Pre-Law emphasis, but I spent more years as a Vocal Performance major in the music department than I did in the poli sci. department. I also have most of a history degree, and I am close to a minor in journalism and English. My original degree program was engineering and physics, but I switch to music during new student orientation my freshman year. It took me 6 years and 200 credit hours to accumulate this vast body of interesting but not necessarily useful education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skied half of Illinois for a break in the quarterfinals of college nationals. That won't make sense unless you are an ultimate player.
