Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think traveling should go beyond tourist destinations. Learning history at museums is enjoyable, but the unforgettable experiences come from interactions with locals. I want to understand people, learn their culture, and know what drives their decisions. Also, I love sharing stories- it brings us back to the best times in life.

Got lost in a snowstorm hiking in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains
Gone 200 kmh/ 125 mph down the Autobahn (driving to Oktoberfest w/ friends)
Placed 2nd in the Midwest Regional Collegiate Rock Climbing Competition and was reached out to by a TV network to appear on American Ninja Warrior
Got a private concert from Bebe Rexha
Talked with many successful people including: George Zimmer (founder Men’s Warehouse), Chris Eilers (founder Dun Brothers Coffee franchise), Parker Harris (co-founder Salesforce), etc.
