About Me
CURRENT MISSION: Norwegian month-long biketrip with a baby in July 2018!
RECENTLY ACCOMPLISHED: American roadtrip in May 2016. [8K miles!]
Don't like to talk about myself, but I answer ALL questions when asked;) Curious, loves to rest and travel, workaholic at the same time. Full of contradictions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to experience and get to know each city I'm visiting - not only see it with tourist's eyes, but also from a local perspective. I believe couchsurfing is a way to do so. I'm sure each day extra brings you closer to understanding any place and its people (but that requires saving money on accomodation). I'd rather take you out for dinner/coffee/beer and have a nice conversation than a comfortable hotel room.
Surfed on couches in Canada, Russia, China, US, Israel, Jordan, Scotland and Germany. Slept in tents and cars, stayed in hostels with 6+ people per room. I'm not a friend of dirt, but no stranger to discomfort of sleeping on floors:)
Interests
I like what I do and I try to do what I like. Both as a hobby and for a living I dive into the world of photography (documentary & portrait), new media marketing, workshops, interviews & reportage while listening to good music and exploring the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I admire Wes Anderson's way of breaking all the rules by following his own perfectly. I read short stories, because I like reading them more than once. And I'm a very slugish reader. I follow tons of artists and I don't like them just because they're hipster-unknown, neither do I stop following when they get deserved recognition. I photograph and I watch photography. Images, words and music are a big part of my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working as a journalist I've been paid so that people I admire would answer my questions.
I lived being hit by a car. I feel like a champion being able to say so. I lived experiencing a birth of a baby. Though that one's no biggie - I was only a witness. I lost 4 cameras on trips. The first one, when my parents let me go abroad alone. I was freaking 9. And I lived through that as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
Exchanging experiences is one of the key reasons I do it. Anything I know, Im willing to share.
