Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met a group of South African couch surfers on my way up to Half Dome in 2013. Their stories about hitch-hiking across America were amazing, so they inspired me to check out this whole Couchsurfing thing myself.

So far, everyone I met through Couchsurfing has been down to earth and wonderful. I finally got a chance to surf a couple couches, and they were they best experiences I have ever had when traveling. Staying with the locals allowed me to get a grasp on the real feel of how local people live their lives.
