My current mission is to explore the world outside my normal boundaries and limitations, and make friends/meet people at the same time.

ABOUT ME

I am far away from home and my only purpose these days seems to be work. I like to fly, don't watch much television, love to travel (close or far), like going out and finding my own stories/entertainment, risk taker, a Texan.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a Christian and Jesus is the reason for the season. I can't deny the absolute truths found in the Bible. That's where my faith lies. I think way too many people have found bliss in watching other people's interesting lives and not enough time making their own lives interesting. I think people spend too much time in preparations and not enough time doing. I think people spend too much time working for the boss and not enough time working for themselves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Clear out a weekend for surfing a couch in another area code. Don't turn down fellow surfers that request a place to rest for a couple days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked across central Europe with stops in Czech Republic and Slovakia. Four countries in five days. Shared Cognac with a two Slovaks on a bus from Prague to Bratislava, neither of us could speak the others language. It worked out though. Too much to list.

Teach, Learn, Share

You will never be the same after sitting at a table in some bar in some far off country with 6 other people from every continent sans Antartica. Sharing drinks, stories, and lives with each other. It opens up eyes you never even knew you had.
