I believe that traveling is really much less about seeing the sights and attractions of a place, but being able to experience life in a different city etc. And couch surfing offers that unique opportunity to see a different place through the eyes of someone else!

I've hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Watching the sun light up this wonder of the world in gold was a truly amazing and rewarding sight after three days!
