Location: Downtown Juneau

I studied Japanese in university/college, with further education in Education TEFL, and Linguistics. I'm currently working in IT.
Before Alaska, I was assistant teaching English in Northern Japan for 2 years. Then worked IT for Toyota for a year after that.
I enjoy a beer with friends anytime, have a hobby in photography and being outdoors whenever weather is permitting. I also teach ballroom dancing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like the idea of helping people travel the world when money is a problem. Traveling is not cheap, but if I can save people some cash along the way and make a memory or two as well, all the better.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled ~160 miles (~250km) by canoe in 3 days. 54 hours to be specific.
Left everything and moved to tiny fishing town in Japan for 2 years to teach English.
