我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I visited South Africa in June-July of 2010, I visited Cape Town. Apart from the football, the great wine, beautiful sceneries I had the adventure of a lifetime.

Just south of Cape Town, a little off the coast into the Atlantic, I went shark diving (With an adventure company of course..). The experience was surreal. There's just something about seeing a 9 feet long great white swimming past you which you cannot put in words. All the adventure shows on television and snaps with a hi def camera don't do justice to these natural beasts in person.
From getting into that body suit (which was tight as hell), to jumping into the cage and seeing the darn shark swim across you to watching the shark struggle with that piece of bait(which it was not supposed to get hold off) and banging on the side of the boat, not 5 feet from my face is an unbelievable experience.

Even knowing the fact that this beast could snap me in half in one bite didn't move me from staring at it in bewildered happiness. I don't have any more adjectives to describe it.
It was an experience of a lifetime.

Just wanted to add another one from a childhood. One of my clearest memories have been writing my name in the snow at Khardung la pass (17.5 K feet).. for all those bragging about this feat by citing you experience in the aircraft urinal... i frown with haughty derision and wait for the urinal to empty itself in mid air with you still in it!
