About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life knowing that the only thing that is certain is that everything changes.

ABOUT ME

I am married with 5 sons. I have lived in England, Canada, Poland and am currently living in the United States. My husband has a long standing interest in the early exploration of the west coast of America, with particular reference to where Sir Francis Drake spent the summer of 1579. We were fortunate enough to win green cards in the ethnic diversity lottery, so have been living here since 1995.

PHILOSOPHY

That even the most fleeting human interaction can have long lasting consequences either positive or negative.

Interests

Everything interests me.

  • boating
  • survival
  • sailing
  • mountains

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Wagner, Vivaldi, Marianne Faithfull, Janis Joplin, Neil Diamond, Green Day, Oasis and of course the Beatles.
Movies I have recently liked include Little Miss Sunshine, the Departed, the U.S.A. versus John Lennon and last night I again watched The Day After Tomorrow.
I sell books on the internet so have a great interest in them. I particularily like the books written by Christopher Moore and think he is unappreciated, I think "Lamb" and "Blood Sucking Fiends" are hilarious. I like John Irving and Alexander McCall Smith, Kathy Reich and Jeanette Winterson, Louise Erdrich and David Guterson. There are many more, but you get the idea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two summers ago we sailed from Seattle to Juneau and back on a research vessel, it was a fantastic experience. Sailing through the narrow passages with the forested mountains coming right down to the water, seeing orcas jumping beside the boat and ice bergs (bright blue) floating past.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are especially knowledgeable about the early exploration of the West coast of America and about early Spanish shipwrecks.
If there is anyone left who does not know how to buy or sell on ebay I can show them how.
Would enjoy learning survival skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
