ABOUT ME

He is a very friendly guy. While he may be a little shy or quite initially, he truly cares for people and has their best intentions in mind. He not only knows a lot of people, he knows a lot of different types of people. He lives an active and healthy lifestyle. He loves food and is willing to try most things at least once. I have never known someone to enjoy both board games and the wilderness so much. He is always doing interesting things, be it traveling or volunteering. I rarely see him angry and I don't think he hates anyone. Overall he has been a great friend since I've known him.

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy new experiences and sharing them with the people you are with. Learning never stops and we can be both students and teachers of\to those around. I believe in servant leadership- service to others becuase its the right thing to do and I believe it will make the world a better place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the surfing community and hope to join a very successful and unique organization. When I finally settle down- I hope to continue the cultural experience by hosting surfers in the pay it forward mantra.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had much experience with Couch surfing, but have stayed with friends of friends, and let friends of friends stay with me when I was teaching English in Madrid last year.

兴趣

I enjoy doing a multitude of activities from rock-climbing and backpacking, to going to Broadway plays. I am a sports fan, and enjoy participating in sports from tennis and golf, to football and futbol. I am in the process of being a raft guide, I love downhill skiing, but will also spend a night watching a movie or bowling. I also enjoy learning, and have taken intro classes in organic farming, game theory, and am doing what I can to become a good chef.

音乐、电影和书籍

I´m very open and will watch movies from Toy Story to Samurais. I love the type of movies that make you think. Memento, Fight Club, and Shawshank are some of my favorites. I also enjoy a nice laugh with movies such as Blazing Saddles. I like most music- specifically rock, (classic, hard rock). Tenacias D and Tool are favorites. I enjoy the outdoors so am facinated with survival and perserverence stories. But I really enjoy learning and like any book that will help me along my path.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Finishing the half-marathon. I had ran 5 miles 1 time before I started training. To be able to complete a goal was very important to prove to myself I could do whatever I set my mind to.
I did a service learning trip in Jamaica last year. Seeing the difference between the lives of the local young students we were assisting and the luxurious lifestyles and hotels of vacationeers.

I am hoping to become a life coach one day and really enjoy helping people reach goals yet also enjoy living their lifes in the moment. I love the outdoors and traveling and just being a person who enjoys all aspects of life. I can teach English and am currently learning Spanish but am always open to learning throughout my life.
