About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To eat the best cake there is accompanied by a lovely cup of tea!
ABOUT ME
Love travelling and by extension meeting people from all over. I meet people from all over the world in my work and really enjoy learning so much about how other people live and see the world.
PHILOSOPHY
You've only got 1 life so live it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, I can only surf but I hope in the future to be able to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a newbie to official CS but ten years ago, I stayed with an Australian guy and his brother who'd met when I was working in a roadhouse in outback Australia. It was so nice to have a sofa after all that time travelling! Also, getting to see places only the locals know and getting to know how they see their own country was really insightful.
Interests
Food - love cakes especially! Reading - just recently started reading proper books and am pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. I've just finished Ghostwritten by David Mitchell. Films - just saw The Lobster at the NZ Int Film Festival. Generally, enjoying life without the need for getting hammered.
