ABOUT ME

I'm a full time art teacher and I can't imagine a job I'd enjoy more. Working with students and helping their ideas to evolve is an amazing experience on a daily basis. It's what regulates me. I'm pretty sure I learn more than I teach. In my spare time, I try to see friends and share a drink or two. I love painting and being a part of nature, sports like tennis, skiing and wake boarding and have recently picked up Ultimate Frisbee.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is a decision - as simple as allowing yourself to feel happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend Trevor and I Couchsurfed through Europe and the United States. There's nothing that replicates Couchsurfing... staying in hotels has become dreadful since experiencing this amazing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some incredible CouchSurfing experiences. Most people are so hospitable that they are willing to change their plans on a dime to make the situation work.
I can't say enough good things about the people I've met through CouchSurfing.

I hiked to the boiling lake in Dominica with my good friend McKenry, and we did it in about a third of the posted time it said it would take!! (And we didn't fall in - nice!!)
