About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to demonstrate the humankind the we are not batty. attempting not to knot my headphones. eating plenty pain au chocolat. and talking to the man on the moon. Being of a gig of GRIMES. (Trying to marry her.)

ABOUT ME

People call me Knautia Arvensis (the latin name for a really unspectacular plant- you can hear the story behind when staying with me).
I love flea markets, I like to have more milk in my coffee than coffee, I always write the word catastrophe with "th", I'm addicted to goat's cheese with honey and fresh rosemary. (I guess, if I was a plant, I would like to be a thick fat tree-kind-of rosemary, and not knautia arvensis). I can't go out of the house without my headphones, I'm a champion in knotting their cable (as well as in deforming several keys) and puncturing my tyres. love dogs! (dogs, not these tiny little semi-dogs). I salt all my food. I'm addicted to concerts and festivals (this sounds boring, but sorry, it is). Liked my first parachute jump so much, wanna get more of it, and now, i'm planning a bungee. I you wanna bungee, let me know. We'll do it together! I love www.seenby.de. I old furniture, hitch-hiking, black and white photography, the books "of mice and men", "perfume" and the movie "leon, the professional". I like to ginger my food. I speak irony fluently. I'm a genius in killing my basil or other herbs in my kitchen by drying them out. I hate the word "smoothie" but I like to drink them. We LOVE the theatre. And the opera. I like d'n'b. And deep bass and flashmobs. I love India. And Pakistan. Travelled there(Actually, I'm able to start sentences without "I".) (Humans call me Claudia. Others (like some of my student friends), if not by the name of a plant, call me whatever they like).Am Studying here in Munich. Some of this humane science stuff. I In summer 2009 I did a 2-month-trip through Ghana where I worked part of the time in an orphanage. One year ago I came back from Ecuador where I joined a project in the rain forest. In December 2011 I just returned from my 3-month trip through south India where I hung around with street children. 2013 I crushed Pakistan from August till October, doing a 2-3-moths field reseach-kinda-thing. I like to go out, go snowboarding/skiing (even if I cant actually do it) swimming, cycling and jogging. Thats all sport i'm able to do. It's not because of my health or anything, it's just I guess, I'm not skilled or never tried out soething more complicated sporty. Sometimes I visit art exhibitions, concerts, museums, the opera and -very important- the theatre. I go out on deep trash electronic music, dubstep and drum and bass. I also go out when drunk on shit from the 90s like Backstreet Boys and my favourite then is Bomfunk MC's Freestyler! Hell, that created memories. Sometimes having addleheaded, mazy thoughts in my heads, I-on the basis - manage to be friendly, reliable and helpful.
Further: all that is so not spectacular for I never know what to answer when asked about by "hobbies" except: "reading, listening to music, dancing, beer." See, I'm one of these.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences with CS are actually greatest! I traveled through the south of France (where I stayed in ten different amazing places via CS) and I crashed a couch in NYC as well as in Berlin. In Berlin I hung around with uncountable crazy people from CS. Meeting strangers at it's best! Was so good.
I once hosted some Germans here in Munich.

I'm very into experiments. Come and we'll brainstorm some weird habits which we'll try out each for 7 days. (Checked off is e.g.: eating just one selected grocery for one week, being without mobile and internet for one week, not buying new plastic for one week, getting up at 5am without any special reason for one week, getting drunk like hell 7 days a week (always being the very last one leaving). Not done yet, but on the list: Living with only 15 Euros a week, learing lucid dreaming, living on containering for a week, asking strangers in public if they lend you their glasses(not sunglasses) for some minutes every day for one week, walking through all doors backwards etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

getting lost in Ecuador's jungle. My illness was witched away by an old Indian lady near Bangalore. for exmaple. I guess a lot more can be put here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't understand what to write here.
(If you can play the guitar and have one- TEACH ME! Whow! That'd be superawesome).
Sharing and talking- well, that's what I make my living of. For 100% sure we'll have a fruitful exchange about whatever. Could be either about Foucault or Islam or about some uselss shit like how to use dental floss the most effectively or whether I believe aliens are longe since among us in the form of plain yoghurt.
