ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm a travel-holic and eternal kid(lol) who has been travelling mostly during my winters since the late 90's. I love meeting new people,experiencing new cultures,and seeing new places! I used to get around by backpacking but have been cycle-touring mostly now for quite a few years and am addicted! Would love to do a 2-3 year trip around the world on my bike sometime! I would also love to host anybody who happens to visit my area bacause as a fellow traveller I know it's great to have a local show you around.

PHILOSOPHY

I dunno, I guess I try to keep it simple: live and let live, inclusiveness, peace, compassion. If there's one thing that travelling has taught me it's that people are pretty much the same everywhere---by and large the world is a very friendly place with awesome people everywhere!

Music, Movies, and Books

Tarantino and Rodrigues movies(C'mon Sin City was a groundbreaking visual masterpiece!),Coen Brothers, Kevin Smith, the list could go on. Movies that are different from the standard hollywood fare where you know exactly what's going to happen before you even sit down-although they can still be fun sometimes ;).

Music: Where do I even start?! There's way more amazing music out there than I'll ever be able to discover in a lifetime! Hip Hop and electronic based music are what I listen to most though....

I've been fortunate enough to feel like I've done a zillion amazing things(maybe it's how you perceive things).

Teach, Learn, Share

Boy, I enjoy learning from anyone: the trike driver, the artist, the surfer, the academic...whoever is willing to share a part of themselves or their knowledge and wisdom with me honours me greatly by doing so and I am humbled.
