ABOUT ME

I'm a 33yo writer and adventurer from Australia of Goan (Indian) heritage.
Raised in Sydney, started my career as a journalist then moved to Chicago for grad school in 2007; I loved living in the US and travelling abroad but by 2011 it was time to come home.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short to play it safe. I dont mean that so much in an adrenaline junkie, skydiving-out-of-an-aircraft sort of way; but in terms of making bold decisions and trusting my instincts to make things work. I love Australia very much but am glad I left for distant shores - to a place where I knew nobody - to experience a different way of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My housemates in Chicago recommended CouchSurf to me; and needing a couch to sleep on in the not-too-distant future, I thought I'd better sign up! So I've not "officially" participated before; however, one of the great things about our house is there's always space for an extra person (or three) to crash, and many have.
