ABOUT ME

I'm just finishing my Peace Corps Service in Senegal and were I was lucky enough to live in the beautiful, tranquil beach town of Popenguine. During those 2 years I cultivated the habit of dancing for no reason (but poorly), forgetting commonly used English words (like shower) and trying to get kids not to run in fear of my whiteness (still no success). I’m a goofy girl working hard to prove you don’t have to “grow-up” to be an adult.
PS I’m incapable of passing a “sizable body” of water without jumping in it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people in the peace corps, and stayed with one surfer. I'm currently unable to host people in Liberia.

Interests

I love the outdoors, trekking around, trying new things (the weirder the better), sports, and sampling the local delicacies of an area. Most of all I enjoy the constant learning that comes from meeting new people, traveling “off the path” and making a hilarious number of mistakes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh no...my life seems to be a comedy of errors, well at least these past 2 years. It's all been amazing, especially my Senegalese family and I'll be happy to bore you with all my stories.
