I love to learn and try new things. Therefore I worked many years until recently as teacher, consumer lawyer, ski instructor, travel guide, life coach, family therapist and active father.
After my son finished school and starts to study, I can afford to stop working (at least for some years) and do whatever I want again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to know new people and places. Beeing married to a flight attentend, I have the grat opportunity to travel cheao all over the world ;))

I own a camper in Africa and have travelled all through southern africa with it. Nothing beats sitting on a campfire, listening to the lions and look up to the stars with a glass of south african shiraz!
Nearly nothing, because standing with the second camper in a beautiful bay in Greece, watching the moon shining over the sea, listening to the surf with a cold glass of Retsina is also not to bad ;)
Beside that all kind of wintersports and windsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Very old fashioned, as my son would say, Beatles, Stones, Dylan, CCR, but also some new ones, just forgot the names.
Movies, so many, love Mamma Mia and Terentino, everything about Africa, and love crying when it gets emotional.

Taking my son out of school for a year, when he was 10 and travelling through africa, doing homeshooling in the bush
