Overview
About Me
I am an engineering student about to graduate from university. I enjoy meeting people and learning new things about different cultures. I always enjoy learning new things and having discussions about history, technology and philosophy. I like sports as well, in particular basketball, football, American football, volleyball and golf. I play the piano as a hobby. Now that I will be graduating soon, I can finally expand my hobby and add traveling to the list.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I will be starting my first full time job soon in June. I am dedicating a month of time between end of April to the end of May to travel in Europe. This will be my first independent backpacking trip, and I'm very excited. I'm traveling on a budget as I will need to pay back my student loan. It will be greatly appreciated if any hosts can take me in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I immigrated with my parents from China to Canada in 2003, and learned English and the Canadian culture from scratch. Today, I consider myself a proud Canadian with Chinese roots, and I look forward to expand my horizon on the values and cultures of the entire world through traveling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you how to speak and write in Chinese.
Learn: German is a language I am looking to learn as it is very important in my field of profession. I would also like to gain a worldly view and learn perspectives from other cultures.
Share: I can share my experience living in China at a young age and growing up in Canada.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you lots of things like how to speak and write in Chinese, play the piano, throw an American football. I can share my experience with you what it's like living, working and studying in China and Canada. I can also cook a few simple Chinese dishes (only if you have soy sauce or rice).
