About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Wandering in Northeast India!
ABOUT ME
I love being on the open road, having conversations and eating cake, befriending cats in every city.
In my free time I run a local literary journal with a few friends where we try to embrace the new, the strange, the nostalgic, the bizarre. I love talking to anyone about anything that stretches my imagination.
In my other time I study Indian communities in Singapore, specifically within Hindu temple sites. I'm intrigued by rituals, spirituality, migrant communities, and people in general.
I read a lot, write a lot, and meditate sometimes.
PHILOSOPHY
Allow for other ways of being whilst retaining my own way of being
Talk to everyone and find out their story
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll talk to anyone and everyone about what they do and what they love - I'm extremely willing to listen & learn as long as people are willing to share. I'll throw in a couple of ridiculous stories myself!
If you are in Singapore or any city/town I am staying in, I love showing people around my city and bringing them to the best bookstore & dessert shop & bike ride
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in Mumbai and Delhi and Chennai, cities where I've spent substantial amounts of time in. Also in Nepal and Bangladesh - although briefly - but in no way forgettable!
In Singapore I live with my parents so I don't have a couch to offer, but I like bringing people around and meeting for coffee or a good local meal. Or an Indian wedding, or a crazy party!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in a schoolbus in a backyard in Santa Barbara, watching people spend their days learning how to walk on their hands and play the guitar.
Learning to ride a motorbike in Australia - it was so frightening with all the one-way streets, but then it became amazing!
Biking across Portland alone in the middle of the night watching the city lit up and cold
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to meet people who can practice Hindi or Tamil with me, or people who want to learn Singapore from inside-out! I also really want to learn Bengali, Malay, and Tagalog. I unfortunately can only help out with English, and basic mandarin. I could share dessert recipes maybe. And I can definitely bake. Organise spontaneous poetry readings. Meow convincingly. This list is non-exhaustive.
