Visiting famous tourist spots is always interesting, but I must admit I am more about immersing myself into the local culture. I can even find joy in something as simple as grocery shopping at a local supermarket (that itself is a cultural experience to me) :p

--- HOW COUCHSURFING STARTED FOR ME ---
I enjoyed Taiwan so much that I traveled to the country three times in a span of a year! I decided that since I love the country and its people so much, on my fourth visit, I should do something different and take a leap of faith by solo travelling for the first time. I toured around the country for a month, and it was easily the best decision of my life. Initially, I only knew about WWOOFING/HelpX to connect with the local people and culture, and later I discovered about the Couchsurfing platform.

I was lucky enough to be greeted by the friendliness and generosity of this community. I fell in love with traveling solo, opening my heart to meet people from all over the world, and listening to their stories. I find genuine joy in local experiences -- meeting local people, eating local food, exploring local neighbourhood etc. I always say this but I feel like words can't express my sentiments enough: I feel really really lucky to meet so many like-minded people here in this exclusive community

I recently started renting a room in Copenhagen, and I’m looking to give back to the community by hosting :)

Stepping out of my comfort zone and making genuine friends with people from all over the world!

P.S. At this point, I enjoy meeting new people so much that I no longer feel like I'm stepping out of my comfort zone (until my social battery runs out x.x).

I listen to all sorts of music and I'm always open to exploring new sounds, so feel free to send me some reccs! I was once obsessed with creating countless Spotify playlists for every vibe. I probably listen to rap the most, and my favorite artist is Kendrick Lamar (I was lucky enough to attend one of his concerts once).

I'm a hugeee film nerd! I enjoy old classic films like an old soul, and I appreciate thought-provoking films by directors like Christopher Nolan. My favorite film of all time would probably be Interstellar. (Nolan + Hans Zimmer is the perfect duo)

One of the most interesting reads I've had recently was The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. It changed my perspective on the little things I do in my daily life.

- Worked in the high mountains on a llama farm in France.
- Worked as a seasonal helper at a hostel in Alaska
- Ice climbed on a glacier in Alaska
- Saw Kendrick Lamar perform three times
