Hi!
I am 20 years old and I come from China, now I am exchanging in the University of Helsinki in Finland. I'm in the 3rd year of my bachelor studying and my major is Economics.

Why do I choose to exchange in Europe which is over 7000-km faraway from my hometown ?
BECAUSE I am so attracted by the amazing natural sightseeing and culture here. I have seen the wonderful photos on Internet and television before, but now I want to EXPERIENCE them by myself.

In my previous travelling I have made many new friends and received warm welcome both from strangers and new friends. For me, the meaning of traveling lies in not only the beautiful sightseeings and destinations, but also the nice people we meet in the journey.
I'm sincerely grateful for the help and warmness I received. I feel so lucky to meet so many nice people here and I would definitely pass on these help and warmness as long as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is far more than accomodation, it gives me an opportunity to meet nice hosts which could be an unforgetablly wonderful memory!

Interests

I have many interests so I think we must have common one XD

Travelling: Yeh this is my main interest now

Sports: I'm not good at sports but I love swimming and hiking. Maybe the most frequent sports I do is watching sports matches :))

Cooking: Tasty food always brings happiness to people and that's why I like cooking.

And I like reading and making new friends too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate various kinds of popular music. As for the classical one, I have learned playing the piano for 10 years in my spare time.
Favorite movie is the Minions, Harry Poter, Mission Impossible, etc
I also like reading novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a volunteering teacher at a rural primary school every Wednesday through a year. The children there were so lovely.

Learning new things is another hobby of mine!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Asian dishes (mainly Chinese but also some Japanese and southeast asian ones ).
Lasting friendship :)) Although you will just host me one or two days, you are my friend no matter now or in the future.
