ABOUT ME

At this time, I am in New Orleans, I am pursuing my undergraduate in International Studies with a focus in Business. I was born and raised in Nepal and I came to U.S. when I was 19. Coming to US and New Orleans, in particular, has been a wonderful, global experience for me. I got chance to meet people from all over the world, including US, Germany, Spain, Guatemala, France, Nigeria and so on. I have always got a breath of new experience meeting all these people and I am always hungry for more.

I love to meet new people, talk to them, learn little bit of their culture and share something about me too. I always feel warm and delighted to meet people from other countries and want to know a lot from him/her. I am a good listener and also, I am curious. So, bear with me if I ask a lot of questions.

Besides that, I went to Berlin, as an exchange student at HWR. I stayed there for 5 months. And, had wonderful couch surfing experience ever in different European countries. So, I wanna repay the CS world by hosting people who want to come to New Orleans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have participated in CS by hosting friends from different countries. So far me and my roommates have hosted 10 surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After hosting 3 girls from France, 2 girls from Germany, 1 boy from San Diego and 1 boy of Indiana, I have memories of wonderful couch surfing experience with them.

Some of them include, traveling to French Quarter, partying on Bourbon Street and strolling around Downtown.
French Girls are really cool. Two of them cooked Crepe in my apartment and it was amazing. One gave me the list of wonderful French Songs. The other translated Carla Bruni's song to English.

I partied hard with German and American friends. It was amazing to spend time with them on Bourbon and at the apartment.

So, every time I welcome friends from around the world, I have something new to learn and something to share. I am really looking forward to enjoying the experience and making global friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like inspirational, comedy and action movies like Shawshank Redemption, Into the Wild, Pursuit of Happyness, Hangover, Knocked up, Bourne series, Fight Club and lots of other.

Music: I listen to all kinds. In particular I like Rock, Pop and Techno music. My favorite bands/singers are Beatles, RHCP, 3 doors down, 1974 AD

Books: I read all kinds of books like, The World is Flat, Harry Potter, 3 cups of Tea, 1984..
