ABOUT ME
Welcome to Missoula :) My name is Brit and I'm a conservation genetics researcher and science filmmaker. I live life in a way that is both exciting to me and beneficial to those around me, striking balance in everything I do. I recently moved to Montana from Wilmington, North Carolina, and have been fortunate enough to be involved in CouchSurfing for the past couple of years. I have chosen to save travel for after graduate school and really love vicariously experiencing the world through my guests. Come stay at our home and teach us something- we'll make sure you have a lovely visit!
PHILOSOPHY
Just be kind- everything else will follow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My roommates and I frequently hosted both American and international travelers in Wilmington, North Carolina. I am now looking to expand my hosting experience to my new home in Montana. I love hosting and look forward to eventually making my own travels in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've had everything from quiet nights to downtown ragers with our couchsurfers (Welsh boys, I'm talking to you haha). Our house is very social but we are always willing to have a quiet night at home. All of our experiences so far have been positive and we expect nothing less of our future guests :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We once accidentally agreed to host 2 Spaniards, 1 Canadian, 1 German, and 1 American all in the same night as throwing a huge house party. No one knew who was a guest and who was a host, and everyone had a total blast :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to teach my guests/hosts things about the southeast, American international perspectives, current science, American theatre and film, college sports, wildlife and natural resources, and so much more!
