About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"To salsa dance my way through the World!"

ABOUT ME

Love spontaneous living! Hard to find like minded people though so I decided to go surfing through life....took up salsa dancing - great people! Been wilderness camping all my life but one of my best upgrades has been hammock camping. Can't get those knots right yet! Working on it...

Whitewater rafting and kayaking are great fun, but doing stuff with new friends is the best. I love meeting locals, celebrating their festivals with them, and just getting caught up in their customs!

I've just come back from a round the world tour! Started in Eastern Europe from my mother country, Hungary and meandered down through Austria, Croatia, and then warmed up in Crete, Greece. Lovely people! From there it was a 4 month stay touring all over Thailand, then Bali, Australia, New Zealand. I figured I'd just keep going since I could work anywhere there was internet and I wasn't in a rush to get back. But after 2.5 years, I needed to regroup so headed back to the states.

PHILOSOPHY

Personally, I believe everyone has a choice. You choose one way or another, but it always comes down to choice. The key is to live with the consequences of that choice and be happy about it. No regrets!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been in CS for 7 years now and have helped put together a couple of events. I love to plan and put on events with different themes!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Costa Rica , Panama, Australia, New Zealand. The local CS'rs are always great and help me get into the scene quickly! In in Panama I made life long friends, Once back in the states, I've surfed with some wonderful people, mostly here in Florida.

Interests

Whitewater rafting, kayaking, salsa dancing - merengue, bachata, cha cha are fun too! But at night its nice to sit around with surfers to share travel experiences over a nice meal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music is salsa music - Marc Anthony
Movies are those with good acting, good script, good story line. Loved Nemo!
All time favorite books are from Francine Rivers to David Baldacci. Now that I have a kindle, sky's the limit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing I've done is traveling throughout the United States with my teenage daughter with a pop up camper. Lots and lots of experiences! Loved the freedom!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a naturopathic physician by trade, but now retired. So anywhere I stay, I will share with you my 35 years of experience of helping people heal from anything they are challenged with. Chronic sinus to chronic pain....I know ways to eliminate them using only herbs, foods, and simple natural therapies. Have never been anywhere so far where I couldn't use my knowledge, skill,s resources to help people heal.
