About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To conect people from several cultures

ABOUT ME

I like meeting people from diferent cultures as well as I like traveling to get to know more about other people, countries and cultures. When I'm at home i like to show my culture to people visiting me.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let it live...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Helping people to understand more about my culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled to diferent places in Europe, North and South America and inside Brazil, but before knowing CouchSurfing.

Interests

To get to know more people from around the world, traveling to diferent places and also receiving travelers in my city.

  • culture
  • traveling
  • socializing

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock, Classic, Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Frevo.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling in the countryside of Ukraine and discovering a new world, full of joy and friendly people!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my culture and I'm open to learn about other cultures from around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share my culture, show my city, talk about traveling and different cultures...

If you don't speak Portuguese, YOU WILL HAVE PRIORITY to stay with me. As I can speak foreign languages I think I can help more people that don't speak my language. If you speak Portuguese, the city is full of hosts that speak only Portuguese, so you can stay with one of them. It doesn't mean I don't accept people that speak Portuguese, but it is just a matter of helping those who have more difficulties because of the language barrier.

RULES YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW TO STAY IN MY HOME:

Before asking accomodation, please read These rules:

0- If you are not totally vaccinated against covid-19, or if you are antivax, please stop here. Don't lose your time asking me for accomodation. Try someone else!!!

1- You are welcome to stay and sleep in my home, but you are responsible for your own food. That doesn’t mean that I would not invite for a breakfast or another meal. But keep in mind that this is a courtesy, not an obligation. If you want to cook a nice meal, we can go together to the supermarket and buy the ingredients. We can share the costs and cook together. No ilicit drugs allowed in my home.

2- You are not allowed to bring to my home people I don’t know. You are my guest, not the people you might know in the city. If you have friends here and they want to visit you, there are a few bars, cafés and restaurants close to my home that you can do that. I would be happy to meet your friends there together with you.

3- If you ask me for couch, I suppose you don’t know my city, so I will be happy to go out with you to show you my city and share my culture with you. I expect that you have the same feeling so we can learn about eachother's cultures. So, forget your constant interaction with your cell phone, tablet, for a while, and try to interact with me and some other human beings around you. Just to be clear: I live in a REAL WORLD, not in a virtual one.

4- If you are my guest I will do my best to make you feel comfortable assiting you as much as I can. So, please I would be happy if you appreciate that being interested in what I have to share with you. I also want to learn about your culture.

5- Just important to say: I don’t have an extra key from my appartment to give you. So if you are going out alone, try to come back at my time limit. Normally I’m going to bed around 11 O’clock PM. So try to come back home before this time. I wouldn’t like to wake up in the middle of the night to open the doors of the building and my appartment for you. Remember, you might be in Holiday, but I’m not!!! I also do not allow people inside my home when I'm out. So, when you are not going out with me, make your schedule in a way that you can leave and come back when I'm home.

6- If you stay here, put in your mind that you are my guest and I will do my best to be with you as much as I can. I don’t mind if now and then you go out with a friend as long as you come back home before I sleep. But, I wouldn’t be happy if you use my couch as a bridge to meet your local friends. Remember Couchsurfing is not a hotel. If I accepted you in my home I want to share my culture with you. If you come ONLY to see your friends, you’d better stay with them at their home.

7- If you want to listen some music, TV, or make a phone or Skype call to your friends, I don’t mind, but please be silent after 10 PM. I live in a building with some appartments, and my neighboors wake up early everyday to work, so silence is gold!!!

8- Normally I don’t accept couples because I have just one guest room with a single bed, so if you are a couple try to find someone with a couple bed ora t least with two beds. Although, in very extreme situations I have already received more than one person after explaining that one of then would sleep in a matress on the floor.

9- Please, keep the kitchen and the toilets clean. If you cook something for you, please wash the dishes later.

10- Please, read again all these rules and if you have any doubt, please contact me to ask what you did not understand. When you ask me for accomodation, please mention that you have read my rules and accept them, and mention one or two reasons explaining why you have chosen me.
