Hi, I lived in Wellington, New Zealand, for 5 years and came back to Japan last year. Now I miss "Shortland Street" and "Home and Away" every day...

I used to teach Japanese at a New Zealand university and am happy to help people learn Japanese.

Currently I’m an assistant professor at a university in Osaka. よろしく！

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never surfed, but have hosted a couple of people so far and had a great time.

I have also been organising Japanese conversation meet ups in Wellington, where Japanese learners practise speaking Japanese with native speakers and other learners.

My first CS experience was giving a tour of Wellington to a Japanese visitor.

I used to teach Japanese at a New Zealand university and am happy to help people learn Japanese. I also have an English tour-guide license in Japan, so should be able to teach a thing or two about Japanese culture, history, tourist attractions, etc.
