ABOUT ME

About me.... I really have yet to find anything that tastes better than a cold beer and a hot dog had at a baseball game on a summer night. I am convinced that people are the most interesting, boring, surprising, predictable, screwed up, beautiful creatures on the planet. I will eat anything, as long as ketchup isn't involved. Put me on a boat or in the mountains for the rest of my life, and I am the happiest guy you will ever meet. I'm a music fiend. I have yet to see a comedian more hilarious than a baby. I believe in the soul, the small of a woman's back, high fiber, laughing at little dogs in cars, good whiskey, that Grey's Anatomy, reality TV, and the Da Vinci Code rot your brain. I believe that more of life happens after midnight than before 10 AM. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in genuine conversation, dropping everything at a drop of a hat to drive across the country with people you care about, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and long, slow, deep kisses that last three days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still fairly new to the CouchSurfing website family although I've been doing my own form of "couch surfing" thing for a few years now-- (bunking at friends of friends of friends when travelling).

Driving, pile-driving, screwdriving, staying up way too late, boating, reading, music, strong coffee, the mountains, the alley-oop, traveling anywhere and everywhere, old black and white movies, good people, chill-ness, Cali Taco, non-yellow sour patch kids, Steve McQueen, Tom Joad, Atticus Finch, my ukulele, octopi, jays basketball, sauntering, spontaneity, karma, humility, playing guitar, trying to sing, making a mark, scratching the surface, jumping the gun, sleeping on it, losing it, hugging it out, curveballs, high heat, the first night of anything, medicine, good friends and cold beer... amen
