ABOUT ME

Well I have had this profile for a while now as attempted to use it whilst teaching in China but have been back in the UK for a few months now so haven't been on here for AGES.

I am moving to Dunedin in July to start my postgradute study in Psychology and thought it would be a great time to get more active on CS and hopefully meet some people in Dunedin.

Not very good at writing 'about me' sections. I laugh a lot , I enjoy travelling, reading, relaxing with friends and being outside.

I don't have any where to live yet but once I do and get to know the area enough to host I would love to have visitors. Happy to meet for coffee and wine though

Interessi

people interest me, as do new challenges and experiences. Would be a BIT weird if i wasn't fascinated by psychology, love understanding more about how people work/tick.

Musica, film e libri

i like reading two books at the same time, this means sometimes they don't all get finished and this seems to offend people at times -I'M SORRY!

At the moment I'm reading 'On The Road' (Kerouac) and 'The Lucifer Effect' (Zimbardo). Authors whose work I have enjoyed include Khaled Hosseini, Orwell, Malcolm Gladwell, Jung Chang, Danny Wallace

Music is good, I enjoy listening to all kinds of beats, some artists who are often repeated on the K-pod are; Brand New, Dan le Sac-vs Scrobius Pip, Counting Crows, Cat Stevens, Modest Mouse, Bob Marley, Meatloaf, Death Cab, Gaslight Anthem, Bloc Party, Mumford & Sons, Atmosphere, Stevie Nicks with or without Fleetwood Mac,Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, John Coltrane.

I like it when people suggest things for me to listen to and i'm pretty open minded

Too much of my money is spent on dvds, and sometimes those films are very bad...I like black and white/nostalgic films a lot. films about christmas are always a winner with me, as is anything by Hitchcock.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I went to China to Teach English for a few months and had had no experience/training and was meant to be sitting in on a lesson with my friend ali. A teacher never turned up so we had to ad-lib/free style a lesson for 60 kids from scratch. Was a terrifying experience, but a lot of fun and we still laugh about it.
