About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn from the wise ones, To be steady as the beating drum.
ABOUT ME
Sometimes when I look at myself in the mirror I still wonder what kind of a person I really am, but one thing I can be sure of is I am an extremely lucky girl :)
I was born in Malaysia the multi cultural nation. I have been living in a very wise and sensible family which I think has made up most of my positive personalities :) I had been mainly chinese/malay educated until I went to Australia to study architecture, also where I developed my english. At the current stage I am preparing to do my master in Barcelona and hopefully after two years I will graduate and will be able to help with the permissions of many natural buildings using myself as a registered architect.
I think I only started learning the useful knowledge since I graduated from high school. Permaculture is the biggest part of the change I would say. It is definitely an essential knowledge to all human beings. As it covers almost everything, it is a very powerful tool to wisdom.
Other than that I started to develop my interests in meditation, hitch hiking, dumpster diving, and tribal philosophies.
In terms of religion I am not committed to any but I respect and learn the good philosophies :)
Random fact: I still haven't yet learnt to bike :-/
PHILOSOPHY
-To love someone/something is to realize he/she is not permanent.
-You only find your way when you get lost.
-We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.l
-The pattern of nature- it is always the right pattern to follow :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Curiosity. An Italian backpacker whom I met in Bangkok told me about this. I wish I could meet her again through couchsurfing :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm still relatively new! I did some wwoofing in Australia which is similar to couchsurfing. Other than that I was hosted by some nice people while traveling with my boyfriend. Lovely people!
I have never hosted anyone, yet.
Interests
I play the guitar, the piano, and I enjoy singing too.
Also, contributing my profession in sustainable architecture is a future life that I pursue.
Apart from that, organic gardening and meditation, and I like posting postcards too!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not really good in remembering names..
Music- I am more into old music like the 60's 70's and 80's. I am a big fan of the Beatles!
Movie- In some ways I think kids movies are therapeutic and put a smile on your face :) and YES Hayao Miyazaki animations!
Book- the first name that pops up 'A Pattern Language' by Christopher Alexander.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just being alive is an amazing thing ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching is caring.
-I'm not the best guitarist/pianist, but I would be really happy to share the joy of playing a musical instrument :)
-I speak mandarin, english, cantonese and malay and would love to teach anyone who is interested.
-Actually, anything! anything that I know I am more than happy to share ;D
Learning is never ending.
-Natural buildings. best way to learn it is by doing it by own hands :)
-Currently I am learning languages like Spanish/Catalan, Italian and Polish (greedy me!)
-Organic gardening and knowledge about natural medicines. such a useful tool in life! ;)
Sharing is mutual joy.
-Fact is other than spiritual things we also need physical things. I would be more than happy to share anything that I have! food, guitar, toothpaste, laptop, clothes etc :P
-And of course, the spiritual things. HA!
